Ghaith Al-Mousawy
Ghaith Al-Mousawy, an Iraqi entrepreneur and visionary leader, embodies the true spirit of resilience, ambition, and national pride. Born in Iraq, raised in Lebanon, and shaped by the United States, his journey stands as a powerful testament to determination and the pursuit of greatness.
From his early beginnings, Ghaith demonstrated exceptional drive and discipline. His passion for bodybuilding led him to achieve three first-place titles in Texas, earning recognition as one of the most dedicated athletes in the Arab community abroad. Yet his ambitions extended far beyond the stage.
Guided by perseverance and an unwavering belief in his purpose, Ghaith became the first Arab-Iraqi diamond manufacturer in the United States, founding a business that today supplies fine diamonds to numerous jewelry stores across the country. His entrepreneurial journey began as a personal mission to lift his family out of financial hardship — transforming struggle into success and ultimately becoming the first multi-millionaire in his family’s history.
Today, Ghaith Al Mousawy serves as the National Director / President of Miss Universe Iraq, a role through which he continues to honor his homeland. His vision is not only to showcase beauty in its physical form, but to illuminate the deeper beauty of Iraqi culture, heritage, and pride. Under his leadership, Iraq has reclaimed its place on the international stage — represented with dignity, excellence, and authenticity.
